New Orleans 2016

In the fall of 2015 Chris Ring of Legacies Alive was the first American to swim the length of the Mississippi River. We hosted him at my cabin on the Mississippi River in August 2015. He ended his swim at Mile Marker 0 on the lower Mississippi River, 90 miles South of New Orleans. I attended the NRECA (National Rural Electric Coop Assoc.) in New Orleans in Feb. 2016. I arrived two days early and one of my goals was to go to Mile Marker 0 on the Mississippi River.
